The study of the effect of people's behavior (citizens) on the environment in the general context in a case study: Chamran Long Garden, Shiraz (۱۹۹۱-۲۰۱۶)

Today, behavior in the environment is one of the main options in design. This principle exhibits itself more in environmental psychology and architecture than in other areas. The study analyzes social encounters in Chamran Boulevard influenced by architecture and its transformations over time. These changes contain the effects of the environment on people and vice versa. This research aims to identify the critical factors in the formation of people's behavior in public sites. By examining the marginal park of Chamran, the factors that caused improper performance and behavior in this space are determined. This hybrid methodology is known as theory-prove-procedural. First, through field research with a descriptive-analytical approach, survey studies based on observation and questionnaires are prepared. According to Cochran's formula and the statistical community of Shiraz people, ۳۰۰ people have filled it out at different times of the day. Eventually, the analytical-exploratory technique was employed to complete the analysis. Finding a convenient and desirable pattern that matches the objective facts on the site for sidewalk design is the primary focus of this study. Finally, according to the needs and shortcomings, the walking paths around the park were designed after the analysis. The result indicates people's interest in spaces with water design elements that make the space green and pleasant. Proper access to the park and having a desirable atmosphere and convenient location are appealing factors in this space. Hotels, hospitals and designed spaces are among them. According to people's opinion, the feeling of comfort and use of space is very dependent on furniture.
