خلاصه مقاله:
The field of organic chemistry has produced numerous essential daily-use essential products. The detrimental consequences of the chemical industry on the environment have promptedconsiderable changes in the production of chemicals. Biocatalysis offers an alternative tostandard synthetic approaches by utilizing enzymes, nature's catalysts, in place of artificialcatalysts to produce chemical changes. Enzymes are biodegradable, created from renewableresources, and exhibit excellent selectivity in the reactions they catalyze. Biocatalysis is ahighly interdisciplinary field that has profited substantially from recent discoveries in, amongother disciplines, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and chemical engineering. This researchfocused on the enantioselectivity of imine reductases (IRED), the configuration of finalproducts, and their chiral products' enantiomeric excess (ee).
