چکیده

Aim and Background: Bowel obstruction is known as an increasing complication during pregnancy. This study aimed to investigate a pregnant woman with intestinal necrosis in the context of torsion.Case presentation: A ۳۳-year-old Asian woman at ۲۵ weeks and ۴ days gestation, presented to hospital with a history of nausea and epigastric pain. She claimed to have usual diagnostic evaluation of adults with abdominal pain, past and current obstetric history, vaginal bleeding and leaking of fluid.Results: The patient was discharged from hospital in a good general condition one week after the surgery. A full-term infant weighted ۳۰۰۰ gram was delivered by caesarean section in ۳۹ weeks gestational age with ۱-۵ minute Apgar scores of ۷ to ۱۰.
