چکیده مقاله:
Identifying esophageal behavior and its peristaltic motility is one the most significant factors on Gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Peristaltic behavior is comparable to an oscillating wave movement during the physiological time of swallowing. It is the main cause of esophagus muscle contractions and Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES) opening mechanism. In our computer lab experiment, virtual esophagus created to simulate peristaltic behavior based on hyperelastic theory. Frequency survey using Finite Element Method (FEM)is used for analyzing esophagus during swallowing process. Frequency analysis and displacement data on values obtained from the experiment lead to a frequency range of ۱.۱-۳۰.۶ Hz and maximum magnitude of ۱.۴۴, which indicate the agreement of real performance of esophageal system. Hence, frequency survey has been established a new aspect of novel results and conditions of peristaltic behavior. It also could probably be a link between esophagus muscle contractions and opening mechanism of the LES recognition.
