چکیده مقاله:

Functionally Graded Materials (FGM) are a new generation among engineering materials in which micro structure components change gradually and continuously from point to point. In the present study, an analytical solution is presented in order to evaluate the response of FG rectangular plates subjected to dynamic loads. The main objective of the present work is determining the influence of differences in material distribution (containing linear and non-linear) along the thickness of the plate and FG plate configurations on its deflection and dynamic force time history. Two different types of FG plates are examined in the present study. Type I is ceramic-rich on its top surface and metal-rich on its bottom surface while type II is metalrich on its top surface and ceramic-rich on its bottom surface. Ultimately, the results are validated by published results and ABAQUS software modeling.
