چکیده مقاله:

In the exergy analysis of LiBr/H۲O absorption systems, many researchers neglect taking the effect of the chemical exergy into account. In this paper, the second law analysis of a single effect and a series flow double effect absorption refrigeration system have been studied once disregarding and once considering the chemical exergy, and the differences have been investigated. Results show that the irreversibility of components in which there is not any solution or dissolution process, also the exergy destruction and the second law efficiency of the whole system remain unchanged, while considering the chemical exergy results in a little increase in the exergy destruction in the generator and a little irreversibility decrease in the absorber. The components generating the most irreversibility in the single effect system are the generator and absorberrespectively. For the double effect system, the absorber and HP generator are respectively the components having the highest exergy destruction.
