چکیده مقاله:

Appearance of distributed generation (DG) in the electric power system has had lots of benefits particularly on the generation and distribution segments. During recent decades, environmental advantage of DG application has attracted lots of research attention and encouraged Small Power Producers (SPP) to incorporate and invest on DG projects. Application of renewable energy sources as distributed energy resources in electric power system causes considerable reduction of pollutant gaseous emission from thermal generation unit. This paper firstly presents a new economic-technical factor (ETF) for DG units taking into consideration the effect of their generation on network losses and the relationship between active/reactive power loss and production of pollutant generation unit in the power system. After that in order to economic analysis of these new factor on power network operation that can be provided as economic justification for SPPs, one Security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC) problem in a 24 hours period will be defined and carried out on IEEE30 bus system. Simulation results show DG has positive role on minimization of daily operation cost, considering their impact on pollutant emission reduction and cost of suppliers’ emission
