Prediction of drilling rate using Support Vector Machine (SVM)in oil field

In the Drilling industry, laboratory tests and experimental formulas are generally used to identify the problemor improve operations, or to use past experience to solve the problem.Field information analysis, the mainelement of reducing costs and improving Drilling operations and development of field information analysistools, is one of the ways to develop and improve Drilling operations. The database was then analyzed throughSupport Vector Machine (SVM)to generate an optimum predictive model. Results showed that there is a closerelation between actual (measured) data and predicted data with R۲= ۰.۹۴ and RMSE=۰.۰۵
