In recent years, colonization has new ways of depriving nations from their own rights. Cultural hegemony as one of the most effective and influential ways for this end has been studied in the present paper. Through Black Spruce proves to be a great choice for studying cultural hegemony and realistically shows how first-nations would end up with all cultural elements of the new superior communities. It best depicts the role of time and how next generations would unknowingly give up to the colonization.
