چکیده
Background and Aim : Disinfectants are very important in terms of clinical applications. The useof disinfectants is recommended due to the antibiotic resistance of some hospital pathogens suchas Escherichia coli. In this research, the effect of the disinfectants Cetrimid-C, BenzalkoniumChloride and Micro-۱۰, as well as the effect of the dilution recommended by the manufacturingfactories, on a number of Escherichia coli isolates was evaluated.Methods : In this study, urine samples collected from a number of patients were examined for thepresence of Escherichia coli by diagnostic and biochemical tests and the presence of bacteria wasalso confirmed by PCR method. Then, the effects of the recommended dilutions of the abovedisinfectants by the manufacturing factories were investigated on ۱۹ Escherichia coli isolates at ۵,۱۰ and ۱۵ minutes after adding bacteria.Results : Cetrimid-C, Benzalkonium Chloride and Micro-۱۰ disinfectants inhibited the growth ofall ۱۹ strains of Escherichia coli isolated from patients in all three times of ۵, ۱۰ and ۱۵ minutesConclusion : which shows the full effectiveness of the above three disinfectants in laboratoriesand health centers.کلیدواژه ها
