چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) almost can cause widespread diseasesuch as endocarditis, toxic shock syndrome, osteomyelitis, and superficial skin infection. Manyinvasion factor include toxin, modulator of immune response, and cell wall associated proteins canhelp S. aureus to persist in body. S. aureus can be categorized in two type based on resistance tothe Methicillin, Methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and Methicillin-resistanceStaphylococcus aureus (MRSA).Methods : ۸۰ isolated were collected during Jun ۲۰۲۱ to June ۲۰۲۲. First, isolate investigatedthrough biochemical test include catalase and after initial confirmation as Staphylococcus aureusdifferentiation of MRSA and MSSA done through presence of mec gene. In the next step antibioticsensitivity investigated through Kirby-Bauer Method on the Muller-Hinton agar.Results : among ۸۰ isolates, ۴۷ isolate were identifying as MRSA by presence of mec gene, and۳۳ isolate as MSSA (negative for mec). The highest level of antibiotics resistance was related tothe Cefoxitin. Other antibiotic that investigated in this study include Cefotaxime and Oxacillin.Conclusion : result of this study shown that the most of isolates are MRSA. This result concludesthat the antibiotic resistance is in progress. Abusing of medication of course has a major role inthis enhancement.
