چکیده
Background and Aim : There is a complicated relationship between the liver and intestines. Inthis regard, genetic, environmental factors and diet play a role. What is important in the intestineis the presence of gut microbes, it is said that they are numerous and even ten times as the numberof human body cells. Methods : Anatomical connection, including the bile duct system, liver and portal veins, andgeneral blood flow, further strengthens this connection and crosstalk, and creates a balancebetween the immune system and tolerance against pathogens and antigens. Any type ofdysfunction of gut microbes and even the liver leads to a change in the intestinal population in theform of Dysbiosis, and become the important topic of research in the development of inflammatorybowel disease, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver and cardiovascular diseases inrecent yearsResults : A clear example of this Dysbiosis is fatty liver and steatohepatitis and cirrhosis causedby it, which factors such as diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome provide the basis for thedevelopment of inflammation and liver damage. Microbial products in the form of DAMPs,PAMPs stimulate the immune cells of the liver and finally lead to activate the Stellate Cell (HSC),which results in the secretion of collagen and causes liver fibrosis and cirrhosis. Conclusion : Gut microbial agents by affecting the intestinal lymphocytes lead to the productionof antibodies that target hepatocytes or cholangiocytes and lead to the exacerbation of diseasessuch as PBC, ALH and PSCکلیدواژه ها
