چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : Bovine tuberculosis (bTB) is a bacterial disease associated with infectionsof Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis), a species in the M. tuberculosis complex. The disease mostlyaffects cattle but can become established in other species. The purpose of this retrospective studywas to study the trend of bovine tuberculosis in susceptible livestock populations of industrialherds and its trend in routine slaughter animals in slaughterhouses to identify non-tuberculinreactor animals. Methods : Evaluation of the trend of bovine tuberculosis in susceptible livestock populations hasbeen done over a period of ۱۲ years. This retrospective study is based on the information and dataof the GIS raw data obtained from the system. Slaughterhouse data were also statisticallyevaluating for non-tuberculin tuberculosis and suspected slaughter animals. Results : Evaluation of disease trends and operations in recent years has shown that every yearabout ۱.۳۰۰ million tuberculosis test implemented in the level of eligible livestock in the countryand the program of tuberculin test in ۲۰۲۱ relatively increased (۱۰%) with compared to ۲۰۲۰. Testand slaughter of reactor animals program, monitoring of routine slaughtered animals in theslaughterhouses and accurate follow-up of non-tuberculin tuberculosis reactor animals isolated inslaughterhouse are the most important control program in the country. There has been a significantdecrease of tuberculosis reactors in ۲۰۲۱ compared to ۲۰۲۰ which decreased by ۲۰% and also theidentification of non-tuberculin tuberculosis cases increased. The initial descriptive study of theBT in ۲۰۲۱ indicates that the Tuberculin skin test were carried out in ۶۵% of industrial dairy farmsin the country, which consist of ۵۷% of the isolated reactors in the evaluation process inepidemiological units. Conclusion : With the implementation of the compulsory livestock insurance program in thesecond half of ۲۰۱۹, it was promised that the level of coverage of tuberculin test in the countrywill be relatively increased, but what happened in the end was the resistance of some livestockepidemiological units farmers (even Dairy industrial units) in performing insurance and finallyresistance in performing BT test in livestock units, which has led to a decrease in operations in۲۰۱۹ (۵% decrease compared to the previous year).
