چکیده

Replacing the fossil fuels is one the main goals for researchers. Hydrogen is one of the mostpromising resource for energy. Solid hydrogen carriers are promising candidates for providing electricity byhydrogen as fuel by fuel cells and its application in the maritime industry. Here, cathalytic hydrolysis of sodiumborhydride and hydro borates have been studied. Catalytic hydrolysis of metal borohydrides and hydroboratesis very useful for use in the maritime industry because the water required for this process can be produced onthe ship. The use of this method significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions in nature. The most effectivecatalyts are Ru, Pt and Au. Some low-cost metals such as cobalt, nickel, and copper have been extensivelystudied. Exothermic reaction with these types of catalysts leads to a significant loss of catalytic activity. Usingsuitable ssupporting metal catalysts with morphology and specific surface area control, are good candidatesfor this purpose. We were succeeded to synthesis three new hydroborate compounds: (N۲H۵)۲[B۱۲H۱۲]. ۲ N۲H۴,(I), (N۲H۵) ۲[B۱۲H۱۲]· H۲O, (II), and (H۳O)۲ [B۱۲(OH)۱۲] ·۳H۲O, (III). The hydrogen release of such compoundshave not been yet studied.
