Mindfulness is commonly used in meditation and certain categories of therapy. It can decrease stress levels, and harmful meditation, and therefore can protect the person against depression and anxiety. Studies show that mindfulness can aid people in better managing rejection and social isolation. A person’s experience of time tends to be subjective and heavily influenced by their emotional state. Fears and anxieties about the past and the future can make it difficult to fully appreciate the present. In mindfulness, we must learn how to attend to our emotional situation and manage it. Of course, fears and anxieties about the past and the future can make it difficult to fully appreciate the present. A practical application of the concept of applying awareness to the process of mindfulness is learning. Mindfulness can reduce the gap between what learners can do and what they actually do. This construct is defined as the deliberate and guided metacognitive application of non-automatic and usually effortful processes. Mindfulness reflects a voluntary state of mind that links motivation, cognition, and learning. The purpose of this narrative study was the positive effect of mindfulness on students' self-regulation skills for a successful future, which was done through the examination of anatomical and physiological pathways. A better understanding of these paths will help us to lead students to acquire skills with proper education in schools. Therefore, it is possible to integrate useful solutions into the academic education of students to facilitate the student's motivation.
