چکیده

The aim of this study was to isolate and characterize Lactobacillus species from indigenous Broiler Breeders farms with a special focus on their probiotic properties. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) were isolated from vagina and gastrointestinal origin of ۲۰ broiler breeder hens and cultured and the isolates were characterized as LAB based on the Gram staining, catalase. Only Gram- positive, catalase was selected. The result of the deliberate indicated that ۱۶S r-DNA sequencing data of the selected isolates clearly showed ۹۵% homology to Lactobacillus Subtittis. In conclusion as probiotics, Lactobicillus species have been used to improve the intestinal health and growth performance of poultry and could be considered as potential probiotic candidates and also applied as microbial feed additives in chicken feed formulation.
