چکیده مقاله:

Leukemia is a blood and bone marrow cancer characterized by uncontrolledproduction and an increase in blood cells. Epigenetic factors, such as noncodingRNAs, have been linked to the development of leukemia in thiscontext. ncRNAs are non-coding RNAs that do not get translated into proteins.Long non-coding RNAs are ncRNAs that are longer than ۲۰۰ nucleotides(lncRNAs). The goal of this research was to determine the significance androle of genes in leukemia. This is a review that was conducted by searchingPubMed and Google Scholar for the terms long non-coding RNAs inleukemia.LncRNAs have been demonstrated to interact with nuclear chromatin ininvestigations. By functioning as a decoy or guide for transcription factors,LncRNAs can regulate transcription. Staufen homolog proteins can interactwith lncRNAs. By competing for microRNA binding, LncRNAs can influencemRNA levels. LncRNAs can influence mRNA translation. LncRNAs canmodify protein functions directly. Finally, abnormal LncRNA expression inleukemia the activity of LncRNAs in terms of their unique functions indifferentiation, energy metabolism, malignant proliferation, apoptosis, andtreatment resistance of leukemia cells determines whether they play a positiveor negative role in leukemia progression. All of the LncRNAs appear to act inpathways implicated in cancer etiology, suggesting they could be exploited astherapeutic targets or as a biomarker for leukemia.
