New challenge of bioethic in human genome project

Editing of genome technology (CRISPR-Cas۹) has an essential role inrecognition of gene functions, molecule manipulation, and treatment ofgenetic diseases. According to the exclusive of genes, so many biobanksestablished in the world to diagnosis genes and have unique treatmentmethods. The purpose of this study is to discuss the advantages anddisadvantages of using this technology and related ethical issues. Thisresearch was conducted in ۲۰۲۱ by using keywords such as bioethics, humangenome project, and gene manipulation in an authentic database such asSID, Google Scholar, and PubMed. Eventually, ۱۱ articles were found andextracted, so, all of them were used in this article.Based on researches conducted in the field of human projects and theirethical issues, the Editing of genome method based on CRISPR-Cas۹ is aneasy and cheap method with low error, so it can be done on genes in thelaboratory. Therefore, it can be prevented from defective mutations andgenes and cured hereditary diseases. But sometimes gene manipulationeliminates useful genes in the future. The power of this method causes themanipulation of soldiers’ genes for biological warfare and the production ofhuman body tissue, it has become the basis for human cloning. It has facedopposition from religions and governments so far. It is necessary to havesome restrictions for bad intentions such as military targets and no racialreform. These restrictions must be made so that its bioethical aspects are notignored.
