چکیده مقاله:

Molecular Sieves and Activated Alumina are both used in Cracked Gas drying. As the inlet gas is saturated, water concentration can be estimated from the process temperature and pressure, and the cycle time of the dryers is controlled from their known capacity. However, dryers are subject to fouling with polymers and heavy hydrocarbons and channeling through the dryer bed can shorten the effective dryer cycle time. Crack gas drier is one type of pressure vessel type device, it is used for drying process of ethylene, propylene gas or other many products like molecular sieve may be used. Here by using crack gas drier at different application it should be operated under different phases of operation like adsorption to regeneration. Drier operating from this condition in which temperature and pressure are changes within time in different phases of operation so under this changing condition there is crack or failure are induced due to fluctuation of temperature and pressure. Over the years, a lot of progress has been made in the adsorbents’ perfor mance and economic feasibility. Although nowadays there are about ۱۶۰ different zeolite structures, none of those could replace the type ۳ A zeolite for ethylene drying. Certainly there are zeolitic compounds with very promising adsorp tion characteristics. Unfortunately, these materials are still either difficult to produce, or thermomechanically or chemically not stable enough to serve as adsorbents in ethylene plants.
