چکیده مقاله:

Background and Objective: The skin of the human body absorbs ultraviolet radiation (UVR). Exposure to this agent results in pigmentation, early aging, erythemas, skin cancer, and DNA damage. This paper aimed to fabricate UV protective PAN nanofibers sprayed with different concentrations of CNT nanoparticles using the electrospinning technique.Materials and Methods: the nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning method. The morphology and chemical structure of nanofibers were investigated by SEM microscopy and FTIR spectrophotometer, respectively. The UV protection property of nano webs was studied by UV transmittance measurement and UV protection factor (UPF) calculation. Results: The FTIR study of nanofibers confirmed the successful fabrication of PAN/MWCNT nanocomposites. According to SEM images, nanoparticle concentration influences thenanofiber morphology. The results showed that the spray of nanoparticles increases UV protection compared to pure PAN nanofibers, in which with the increasing the nanoparticle concentration, this protection property increases. All the sprayed samples provide enough protection to be classified as excellent protection at all concentrations. Conclusion: All the results emphasize on the successful production of UV-protective nanowebs applying MWCNT nanoparticles. The produced UV-protective nanofibers may beemployed for upcoming purposes in the health and occupational areas.
