چکیده مقاله:

Background and Objective: The ۲۱st century is witnessing a series of viral epidemics that have infected millions collectively. COVID -۱۹ is one of the epidemics that mainly has a lot of negative effects on different groups of people, including people with chronic diseases who are very sensitive due to the weak immune system. Therefore, during an outbreak, protection and prevention against COVID- ۱۹ is as important as providing treatment for the disease itself. The aim of this study was to review the consequences of palliative care for people with chronic physical diseases (cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, pulmonary, asthma) exposed to coronary artery and to provide strategies to increase self-care in these people.Materials and Methods: In this review study, articles indexed about chronic physical diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, pulmonary, asthma used Information Database on Google Scholar Databases, Science direct, PubMed Scopus. Results: Patients with chronic physical illness are completely physically and psychologically fragile. In fact, the prevalence of COVID-۱۹ may lead to discontinuation of medical care and reduced self-care in patients. The palliative care team , which invests its time and effort in retrieving important aspects of the patient's cultural and social settings, measures the outbreak of COVID-۱۹ with awareness of potential problems and local context. Evidence suggests that palliative care providers, while endowed with unique knowledge about patients and family members, demonstrate the positive effects of palliative care on patients and increase self-care in these patients. Conclusion: All patients can use more support and psychological information, for example by using the webinar, additional support will be useful for patients who are facing the daily consequences of COVID-۱۹.
