خلاصه مقاله:
The current aim was to investigate communication styles and brain-behavioral systems as predictors of readiness for impulsive behavior in adolescent students of Ahvaz city. The statistical population of the present study consists of all the teenage students of Ahvaz city in the year ۲۰۰۸-۲۰۱۹, numbering ۱۰۳۴۶ people. The sample size was obtained by using Morgan's table and using the cluster method of ۳۷۴ people, and the questionnaires were completed by these people. The type of research based on the purpose is applied type and in terms of research method it is descriptive-correlation type. In order to collect information in a correlational way, the three communication styles of Suskin and Morris (۱۹۸۷), Gray-Wilson's brain-behavioral systems and Mason's impulsive behavior were used. The results of the research showed that the level of readiness for impulsive behavior in them is less. The more bold communication styles students have, the less readiness for impulsive behavior they have. In other words, the more aggressive and passive communication style students have, the more ready they are for impulsive behavior. Also, the increase in the brain-behavioral system in students is accompanied by a decrease in readiness for impulsive behavior in them. The results of research hypotheses showed that there is a multiple relationship between communication styles (aggressive, passive, daring), brain-behavioral system and readiness for impulsive behavior in students.
