چکیده مقاله:
This study aims at one of the most significant issues in education which is academic satisfaction
and implementation of ice- breakers as a warm up tool for high school foreign language learners
in a local area in Iran. To this end, ۱۰۰ participants of Refah high school students ranged from grade
۷ to grade ۹ were required to report their satisfaction about classroom start up with a relevant ice
breaker, during a ۵ week- summer course. The course was held online during the pandemic and at
the end of the course, the participants were given academic satisfaction questionnaire through
google form. The results showed that those who had relevant ice breakers right at the beginning
of the classroom, showed greater amount of satisfaction and enjoyment.
