چکیده مقاله:
The aim of this study is to design and evaluate a new type of screw connecting cranial tissue based on porous structure that can increase the joint space between the screw and bone, a suitable environment to promote cell penetration, vascular transfer, nutrient and oxygen flow, waste removal and eventually provided bone growth. For this purpose, first the titanium porous screw was modeled in CATIA software and transferred to ABAQUS software for finite element analysis. In order to determine the strength and resistance of porous screws against possible stresses during or after surgery, two simulations were performed under torsional torque and bending moment processes from inside the bone. To ensure the results obtained, both simulations mentioned above were performed on a sample of screws used in cranioplasty surgery modeled in CATIA software, applying the same boundary conditions as before.
