Prediction of the Solubility Parameter for Various Compounds Using Three Cubic Equations of States

چکیده
The solubility parameter is a powerful and applicable tool for a better understanding the solubility issues. Two materials with similar solubility parameters gain sufficient energy on mutual dispersion to permit mixing. The solubility parameters have been tabulated in the literature for a number of different compounds. In this work, the Peng-Robinson (PR), Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) and Valderrama-Patel-Teja (VPT) EoS have been used to evaluate the solubility parameter values of over ۷۰ compounds. Then, they have compared with the experimental values at ۲۵ oC and ۱ atm. It is interpreted from the results that the PR and VPT EoS gave better outputs in predicting the solubility parameter than the SRK EoS.کلیدواژه ها
