چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of this paper is to compare the simulation results obtained from different turbulence models in the post-combustion stage in an internal combustion gasoline engine. In this paper, we used the turbulence models such as standard K-ε, RNG K-ε, SSTK-Omega and LES. After creating a mesh-independent sample of a four-valve PFI gasoline engine cylinder and calculating the results in CONVERGE-CFD software, validated the results with Experimental data and after confirming the validity of simulation, then compared the kinetic energy of turbulence and the velocity of flow inside the cylinder for each turbulence model. The results showed that with increasing turbulence areas in the flow center, the SST k-w model shows the amount of turbulence kinetic energy with a better approximation. It was also observed that in the central areas of the flow, the LES model shows better details of the average speed in these points.
