خلاصه مقاله:
In the present study, the optimized geometry and electronic properties of the zigzag antimonenenanoribbons (ZSbNRs) are studied by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The electronic bandstructure along with the density of states of ZSBNRs for different widths are investigated. The ZSbNRs arepassivated by the hydrogen atoms in a not expanding direction. The results show that the direct band-gap sizeof ZSbNRs effectively changes with the width of nanoribbons, by increasing the width from ۰.۷ to ۳ nm, theenergy gap reaches from ۲ to ۱ eV. This shows that ZSbNRs can be used in a wide range of electronic andoptoelectronic applications.
