چکیده

Understanding the key features, techniques, and six sigma methods allows organizations to better support their strategic directions, and increasing needs for coaching, training and also providesopportunities for better project management using six sigma. In this paper we presented, how can we make use of six sigma and its’ tools in project management in order to have a more beneficial, time consuming and more cost effective project management which helps the organizations gain more customer satisfaction besides earning more money, saving from preventing project lag times and reworks. This paper presents the evolution and benefits of six sigma practices and identifies the key factors influencing successful six sigma implementations in projects. It integrates the lessons learned from successful six sigma projects and considers further improvements to the six sigma approach. Effective six sigma principles and practices will succeed by refining the organizational culture continuously. Cultural changes require time and commitment before they are strongly implanted into the organization.
