The success rate of urban spaces is proportional to the amount of use of that space and human presence in it. In fact, instead of differentiating and separating, it should seek to increase social interactions and human solidarity. Plazas are one of the most influential elements of urbanization on the social behaviors of individuals to provide human peace of mind. Since urban life like a plaza is effective on the impact on social relations of individuals with each other and with the community, so in the urban plaza can answer the issues of vitality and social interactions that are the goals of the present study. The purpose of this research is to create an urban plaza with a sustainable architectural approach and with an emphasis on promoting vitality and social interactions in the area around the Ghaen Grand Mosque. Since this research is descriptive-analytical research based on the type of purpose. The results of description and analysis have been used in decision making, presentation of options, and final design. Finally, based on the findings of this study, it can be stated that the design of urban plaza using social interaction factors makes it possible to create an environment that is compatible with the environment and the least damage to the stability of the environment. The necessary ground for creating physical factors (such as space to sit, play, etc.) and creatingactivities (playing, social hangouts, etc.) next to the valuable building of the Grand Mosque, which is one of the elements with the identity of Ghaen city. Provides to strengthen the life and civic life in the city and the city and the citizen to be together and not in opposition to each other and the identity of this square and the city of Ghaen is preserved.
