چکیده مقاله:

Type ۲ diabetes is one of the most severe metabolic diseases which increases the risk of other diseases such as heart disease, retinopathy and nephropathy. Vitamin D deficiency, cardiovascular disease, and lipid profile disorders are more common in type ۲ diabetics than in healthy individuals. Therefore, the aim ofthis study was to investigate the relationship between serum vitamin D levels and the ratio of apolipoprotein B to apolipoprotein A۱ in patients with type ۲ diabetes. The distribution of vitamin D in patients and controls showed a significant reduction in patients subjects (P-Value = ۰.۰۰۰۱ **). On the other hand, the relationship between Apo.A۱ and Apo.B with vitamin D in controls, patients and the total (patient + control) showed that, there is no significantrelationship between Apo.A۱ and vitamin D levels in the samples (P˃۰.۰۵), although a significant and inverse relationship was observed between Apo.B level and vitamin D in the total sample (diabetes + control) (P = ۰.۰۰۱). The relationship between Apo.B/Apo.A۱ and vitamin D in controls, patients and the total(patient + control) was also examined and based on the results, a significant and inverse relationship between the level of Apo.B/Apo.A۱ with vitamin D in total sample (diabetes + control) was observed (P = ۰.۰۰۸).
