چکیده مقاله:

This article examines the results and consequences of forgiveness in the Qur'an with a comparative approach of Western thinkers. Amnesty means controlling anger and emotions and waiving your rights. Forgiveness causes man to be in a certain peace and also attracts and absorbs divine love. In several verses, God advises the Prophet and other human beings to forgive others. Many religions, especially monotheistic religions, have turned their attention to the superhuman aspects of forgiveness, in the sense that the forgiving person forbids revenge and retaliation, and experiences positive feelings toward the wrongdoer. This experience is considered the culmination of a professional social behavior, so that the forgiveness of the wrongdoer by the victim will have positive psychological and physical results. In addition, forgiving mistakes in relationships will reduce the other party's hurtful behavior in the future. This issue has also been considered by Western thinkers and they have dealt with the physical dimension of this trait and have considered the lowering of psychological pressures, creating peace and compromise in society, improving social relations, popularity and security as some of the results of forgiveness.
