Study of Architectural Reconstruction in England and Iran

Nowadays, urban regeneration policy has become one of the priorities of urban policymakers, planners and managers, but the effectiveness of this policy is different indifferent countries. Research in urban sciences and related fields is considered and in fact the existence of a strong analytical structure requires this type of approach. This approach allows to define irrelevant factors by defining comparable variables and criteria from the context of the research subject. The problem that has been studied in this research is the comparative study of urban design documents in two selected neighborhoods of Tehran and Liverpool. These studies have been done with a descriptive-analysis approach based on urban documents of the two countries and comparatively. Iran has not had much success in urban regeneration due to lack of coordination in urban plans.
