چکیده

Every year, a large section of national revenues is spent on investment in development, construction,and infrastructure projects. It is clear that reducing costs and timely implementation of projects will lead to large savings in the budget of executive plans and rapid return on investment. Value engineering is a set of several technical methods that, by reviewing and analyzing the components of the work, achieves the complete execution of the design with the least cost and time. The purpose of this study is to integrate value engineering with projects with EPC contracts as well as to design and present a practical questionnaire to assess the “impact of using value engineering in EPC contracts with emphasis on cost reduction and implementation time”. It is a questionnaire with ۱۲ questions that each question has several sub-sections totally ۴۹ questions.
