Metopograpsus cannicci Innocenti, Schubart and Fratini, ۲۰۲۰ is distributed in the Red Sea, Iran, along the East African coast, Seychelles, Madagascar, and Mauritius. The present paper reports this species for the first time from India indicating its eastward extension.
