Applying knowledge management in the supply chain is one of the most important issues that leads to increased coordination and improved performance in formal and informal supply chain systems. On the other hand, the most important issue in the flow of knowledge between supply chain components is the approach to supply chain performance. Also, considering that the use of knowledge management in the supply chain reduces the waste of time in the production cycle of products and services and creates more value for customers and stakeholders. Therefore, considering the optimal performance of knowledge flow with the aim of reducing time and cost is a topic that has been optimized in this paper using an algorithm. The desiredapproach to create high reliability in the answers generated in the algorithm is to use three methods swap, reversion and insertion. What results from this research is a proposed algorithm that can be used in soft supply chain areas such as supply chain information system optimization
