خلاصه مقاله:
Environmantal pollution with a heavy metals is an important ecological problems in the world. Heavy metals are excessive pollutant in the industrial country that could be accumulate and transfer easily. Cadmium is not essential element to plant growth and it can cause various phytotoxic symptoms. Copper is known to be an essential micronutrient for plant growth and it is involved in many metabolic processes. However excessive of Cu would have a negative effects on plants and animals. Phytoremediation technology is defined as the use of plants to remove pollutants ( sludge or orban composts, pesticides, fertilizer emissions from waste, incinerator, waste water irrigation, residues from metalliferous, mining and metal smeltind industry) from the environments or to render them harmless. With an increase in the contamination of urban area, more and more attention has been paid to the role of ornamental plants in remedying contaminated soil and water. This method is potentially cost-effective engineering- economical and environmentalfriendly green technique to the other method for clean up heavy metal- polluted environment. Among ornamental remediated plants: the Cd contents in the shoot of Viola baoshanensis 4825mg g_1dw at 50 mg l_1 Cd treatment, and in the root of Ipomea alpinereached 123000 mg g_1dw, without showingsigns of visible toxicity.
