چکیده مقاله:
This article examines indigenous knowledge and its role in sustainable rural development. Research Method In this research, documentary research method has been used. In this research, have been used from qualitative research data of experimental studies in indigenous knowledge and its role in sustainable development. These studies have been done some in the country and some abroad. After collecting research data, these data were analyzed. The results of data analysis of this study show that indigenous knowledge in various fields has been stable in rural areas. Including areas of indigenous knowledge, we can mention the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, beekeeping, natural resources, traditional medicine and medicinal plants, natural disaster management and food security, rural industries and so on. The results of this study show that indigenous knowledge in these contexts is sustainable and if combined with modern knowledge is one of the basic foundations of sustainable rural development.
