چکیده مقاله:

For centuries, buildings were built according to their climate and environment. In the temperate and humid climate of Iran, due to high humidity, living inside enclosed spaces becomes difficult in many cases and the need for outdoor space to use the breeze and blinds is seriously raised. It is based on the fact that in the northern regions of the country, each of the scattered and single components of housing are facing out through multiple openings in their sides . Indigenous architecture of temperate and humid climate is so intertwined with nature and adapted to climatic conditions that it is known as extroverted architecture. And in this article, we intend to provide information about the types of semi-enclosed spaces and the role and function of these native spaces in creating ventilation and air flow and creating comfort for residents. The information collected in this article is descriptive-analytical and is also based on library research.
