چکیده

Abstract Unbreakable braces consist of a steel-shaped, ductile core, capable of rolling under both tensile and compressive forces. One of the advantages of this type of bracing system is the high capacity of energy depletion and high ductility with the buckling problem. Made one of the most important drawbacks of this sidewall system is the high limitations of the material separating filler materials from the core, as well as the problems of filling the filler materials and its high weight. In the present paper, the effect of coating length on compressive behavior and energy absorption has been investigated. By this method, the optimum length of the coating is obtained. The optimum cover length is meant to be a percentage of the length of the core, which is less than this amount of pressure and energy absorption is greatly reduced. In this study, the effect of three different forms of core including a belt core, I shape and cross with the same area on the optimal length of the coating was investigated. The results of this study showed that the coverage of optimum lengths has a significant effect on the non-inflexible bracing performance. For modeling verification, valid and valid results have been used, and the results of ABAQUS have been compared. In another section, the effect of the separator layer on the behavior of the buckling braces has been studied. Due to the fact that the separator layer generates various friction coefficients between the core and the periphery of the concrete, so, to simulate these states in the modeling, the coefficient of friction between the concrete and the main variable has been. The results of this section show that with increasing friction coefficient, the tensile strength increases but the compressive strength increases. This, on the other hand, increases the energy absorption and on the other hand, in the high friction coefficient, causes asymmetric behavior in the hysterical behavior of the bracing device. To avoid this, we need to comply with the regulations
