چکیده مقاله:

Effective management in construction projects is highly associated with establishment of coordination in an arranged flow of material, transportation, money and human resource. Supply chain management (SCM) which includes movement and storage of raw materials, work in-process inventory, finished goods and relations between them from point of origin to point of consumption, is a strategic and effective tool for increasing efficiency of construction industry. The purpose of this study is to design a supply chain network which consists of evaluation and choosing of suppliers especially in construction industry. Thus by analyzing previous studies in construction industry and other fundamental industries, a supplier selection model based on integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Fuzzy Set Theory is presented. In proposed framework, first supplier selection criteria and their weights are determined. Then score of suppliers associated with factors and rank of vendors are specified. Eventually, the proposed model is employed for a real construction project to demonstrate application. This model interacts with considerable share of human judgment in supplier selection process and imprecision of most of data in mentioned area very well.
