خلاصه مقاله:
In this semi-experimental study, with a cross-over design, fifteen male Athletes (height = ۱.۷۹ meters, weight = ۶۹.۲۶ kg, age = ۲۳.۷۵, BMI=۲۱/۴۹ kg/m۲, VO۲max=۴۳.۱۴ ml/kg/min) were voluntarily selected and perform Bruce protocol along with listening to progressive music, slow music, and without music until exhaustion. Data were analyzed by Graph pad Prism software version ۳.۸. This study showed that the differences of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, maximum oxygen consumption, and maximum heart rate insignificantly decreased while listening to slow music compared to no music (p>۰/۰۵). However, the differences of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, as well as maximum heart rate insignificantly increased (p>۰/۰۵), and the maximum oxygen consumption significantly increased while listening to progressive music compared to no music (p <۰.۰۵). While listening to progressive music compared to slow music, the differences in systolic blood pressure, maximum oxygen consumption, and maximum heart rate significantly increased (p <۰.۰۵) but the differences in diastolic blood pressure insignificantly decreased (p>۰/۰۵). Listening to both progressive music and slow music compared to no music, the rate of perceive exertion significantly decreased in the minute of ۹ (p<۰.۰۵); this decrease, however, in this minute, was not significant in the state of listening to progressive music compared with slow music (p>۰.۰۵). Another factor, respiratory rate, increase significantly in the state of listening to slow music compared with no music (p <۰.۰۵). While listening to progressive music compared with the state of slow and no music, the respiratory rate insignificantly increased (p>۰.۰۵).
