خلاصه مقاله:
The photo catalytic activity of TiO۲, as o ne of the m ost promising photo catalysts, is limited by fa st photoelectron–hole p air recombination and low interfa cial charge-transfer rates of photo generated c arriers [۱]. In order to solve these problems, some trans ition metals have been employed f or enhancin g the photo catalytic a ctivity of the titanium dioxide [۲]. Also numerous efforts have been made to im prove the photo response of TiO۲ by noble metal nanoparticles loa ing [۳]. Therefore, enlightened by the respective advant ages of transition metal doping and deposition o f noble metal [۴], in this study the idea of comb ining Fe۳+c ations dopin g and Ag n anoparticle s deposition was considered, aiming to deve lop a new photo catalyst with higher performa nce, which h ave been rarely reporte d till now.
