چکیده

Poly(۳ -methylthio phene)(P۳M Th) as on e of the m ost importa nt semicond uctors has some electr ochromism, thermochromism and s olvatochrom ism properties [۱].Mor eover, it has been demo nstrated that many characteristics o f polymer semiconductors can be improved by the presen ce of nanosized particl es. Nano-Ti O۲ can be us ed in energy converter in solar cells, gas sensors, photochemical degradation o f toxic chemicals, capacitors, and waste water purifi cation. For TiO۲, catalytic activity is dramatically increased at particle s sizes belo w ۲۰ nm [۲].Mate rials and m ethods:۳-Methylthiophene was purified by dis tillation.Tol uene or ch loroform (۱۵ mL), so dium dodecylbenzenesulfonate(۰.۳۵ g, ۱ mmol) and nanosized TiO۲(۰.۰۵ g) were added to a round-botto med flask, respectively. FeCl۳ oxid ant (۱۴.۱۵ g, ۸۷.۲۲ mmol) dissolved in deionized water (۵ mL) was then poured into the flask. Next, the solutio n of the monomer (۰.۶ mL, ۶.۲۳mmol) in tolu ene or chloroform (۵ mL) was ad ded dropwise to the ves sel. The re action mixture was finally poured into met hanol nons olvent to p recipitate the P۳MTh/TiO۲ nanocomposite.
