چکیده مقاله:

From an environm ental engineering point of view, ph armaceutic als includin g antibiotics are a new group of man made chemicals of concern entering the environment at concentrations such that th e health eff ects are un known [۱]. Hence, great attention has been paid on its re moval from wastewater. Available methods to deal with antibiotics c ompounds include activated carbo n adsorption , chemical oxidation, biological digestion, photocatalytic degradation, etc [۲]. However, these methods have their limitations and disadvantages. In many cases, these methods are not appropriate to use for the removal of low leve ls of pollutants. In add ition, amon g different n anoparticle s, there is n o report on perovskite materials (ABO۳) such as Sr-doped LaMnO۳ fo r the remo val of antibiotics pollut ants. They h ave attracted a great interestdue to its proper magnetic, catalytic properties , nontoxicity, stability at very high temperatures, high resistance and biome dical appli cations. In this paper, LSMO has been synthe sized by ultrasound under mild conditions. Then the adsorption of amoxicillin by LSMO is investigated under different conditions due t o its high efficiency an d easy to use .
