چکیده مقاله:

The Fe-V/TiO۲-SiO۲ nano catalysts prom oted with zi nc were pre pared by sol–gel method . The effect s of different wt.% of Zn, synthe sis tempera ture and calcination conditions on the struct ure and morphology of Fe-V/SiO۲ -TiO۲ nano catalysts w ere investig ated. The catalyst was e mployed for oxidation reactions. Th ese catalysts with mag netite core can recovery after reacti ons by a magnet from the medium of reaction. Characteri zation of ca talysts were done using XRD, FT-IR, Vibrating sample magnetome ter (VSM) and and N۲ physiso rption measurements such as the specific surface area, pore volume and pore diameter.The ty pe of support plays an important role on the catalytic properties and for a given reaction, the activity and selectivity of the catalyst can be improved by the use of an ap propriate su pport [۱]. T hus intrinsic being char acteristics of both titani a and silica support can be explored fully by using them in combinatio n. Therefore the combi ned TiO۲–SiO۲ mixed oxide repres ents anovel class of materials that have attract ed much attention recen tly as a sup port [۲,۳]. These catalysts are used in differe nt formulations, among which van adia supported on titania is know n to be efficient catalyst in partial ox idation of hydrocarbons .
