چکیده مقاله:

The nanoparticles have very interesting physicochemical properties, such as ordered stru cture with h igh aspect ratio, ultra-li ght weight, high mecha nical strength, etc. In recent years, there is a g rowing int erest in the usage of nanoparticles as sorben ts for orga nic or inorganic pollutants removal because th ey have significant advantages such as (i) the synthesis of them is ver y easy and l ow cost, (ii) only a little amount of nanoparticle s is require d for removi ng of the pollutants fro m aqueous s olutions (iii) the adsorption capacity of them is relatively high. In this research ruthenium nanoparticle load ed on activa ted carbon has been use d as adsorbent for the removal and recovery of methyl ora nge (MO) from wastewater. The batch studies have been carried by observing the effects of pH, concentration of the dye, amou nt of adsorbents, contac t time and etc. The graphical cor relation of various adso rption isoth erm models like Langm uir, Freund lich, Temp kin have be en carried out for this adsorbent. The kinetic st udies suggest the proc ess followin g pseudo second orde r kinetics and involvement of pa rticle diffusion mechanism [۱-۵].
