Synthesis P latinum- Polymer N anocomp osite by using Microemulsio n System

Water-in-oil microemulsions are isotropic and thermodynamically stable mi xtures consisting of nan o-sized aqueous droplets surrounde d by a mon olayer of su rfactant molecules disp ersed in a co ntinuous no n-polar organic medium [۱-۲]. In th is study, we synthesize d nanoparticles of platin um that dispersed in met hylmetacryl ate polymer by using microemulsion system.Mate rials:Methy l methacrylate ۹۹% (M MA) was o btained fro m Merck. Triton X-۱۰۰ ( Acros ) as the surfactant. Platinu m salt (K۲P tCl۶) were purchased fr om Aldrich. benzoil peroxide from Alfa Aesar and deioni zed water were used and hydrazine hydrate (۸۰.۰%), was used as reducing agent.Appa ratus:The U V spectra w ere recorded using a Perkin-Elmer model lambda ۱۵ syste m. The scanning electr on microscope used is a Philips operating at ۱۰ kV.
