چکیده مقاله:
In the past decad es, high den sity polyeth ylene (HDP E) is one o f the most used polymers in many industrial fields such as hoses, packing films, coatings, fire retarded ma terials, etc for its good properties like low cost, excellent electrical an d mechanical properties, good chemical resistance and processability [۱].Pigments are wi dely used for the c oloration o f thermopla stics in m any commercial applications. Although they are used prim arily to impart colour to the polym er, they ca n also have a marked influence on the ther mal and photochemical stability o f the polymeric materiales. For example, by absorbing and/or screening light energy they can exhibit a protective effect o r may be photoactive a nd sensitize to the photochemical breakdown of the polymer. With re ard to these effects, the re are four principal fa ctors which can influen ce the photo stability of a pigment-p olymer blend. The firs t is the int rinsic chemical and physical nature of the poly mer itself; o ther factors are the environment in which the s ystem is used, the chemical and physical nature of the pigment and its concentration and the presence of antioxidants and light stabiliz ers [۲].Semiconductor nanoparticles have attracted much attention in recent ye ars due to novel optical, electrical and mechanical properties, which results from quantum confinement effects compa red with th eir bulk counterparts. M ore recently , ZnO nanoparticles ha ve received much attention due to its low cost of producti on, high ph otoactivity in several p hotochemica l and photo electro-chem ical proces ses, and UV light respon se of band g ap ۳.۲ eV [۳].
