چکیده

Nanofluids, which are dilute colloidal dispersions of nanosiz ed particles in heat tr ansfer liquids such as water, ethylen e glycol, propylene gly col and lig ht oils, are a recent matter of intere st. Rheological behavior is an important parame ter in syste ms involvin g fluid flow. This prope rty is requir ed for illustr ating the interactions of molecules in solutions and suspen sions and also colloid structures. Rheological p roperties are also important in designing nanofluids for flo w and heat transfer applications because the pressure drop and the resulting pu mping power depend on this property [۱, ۲]. In this wor k, ZnO nanoparticles w ere dispersed in poly(ethylene glycol), PEG, then the rheological properties of these nanofluids have been measured.
