Simultaneous determination of norepinephri ne and acetaminop hen using modified room temperatur e ionic liquid/multiwall car bon nan otubespaste electrode

Drug a nalysis play s important roles in drug quality control, and has a great impact on public health. Therefore, a simple, sensitive a nd accurate method f or the dete rmination o f active ingredient is very important.Norepi nephrine (N E) is a dru g belonging to the stim ulants that are on the World Anti-Doping Agency ’s ۲۰۰۵ Pr ohibited List.[۱,۲].Acetam inophen (A C) is a wid ely used a nti-pyretic and analgesic drug with actions similar to aspirin. Its ready a ccess has resulted in its increased use in attempted suicide [۳].Th erefore, simultaneous determination of NE and AC is very i mportant.We used a novel multiwall ca rbon nanotubes modified carbon ionic liqui d paste electrode as a binder. The resu lts showed the superiority of MWCNTs/CI LE to the other electrodes in terms of both provision of better reversibility and higher sensitivity.
